Decked out for Day 2.  Ready to hear some jamming blues!
The photographer was Dusty of www.dustyblues.com.  He is great photgrpaher - even makes me look good -  was nice enough to give me this photo. The shirt says Wheela '07.  I made several Wheela shirts up for Miriam and I for the weekend.  Also gave one to Bruce.  In case you haven't seen my Wheeling Blues '05 pictures, John Lee Hooker Jr. went on and on about how much he loved Wheela and wanted to buy a house in Wheela.  Voila, Wheela Blues Festival was born!

As the day goes on, the boat crowd is growing.  Look at the two sneaking in across the rocks at the bottom right. Guitar Shorty.   Maybe he just looks short cause of that towering 8 ft tall bass player.

Magic Dick of J GEils band fame
Mark Hummel and the Harmonica Blowout.  This was great!!!  The whole day had a lot of different harpists and styles.  Then this incredible demonstration of musical talent....I was - pardon the pun - BLOWN AWAY!WOWWWW!!!  Magic Dick of J Geils fame. 
 Just electrifying. 
Met him later at the after jam on Sunday.

Terrible photo but I couldn't leave it out cause this guy...well there's just not enough words to describe how good he was. Mark Hummel, Magic Dick & Lee Oskar.  Incredible individual performances and then the blowout all together.  It was - like the whole day (and Pardon the pun) MINDBLOWING!
