Part of Salem Lake.
It's not huge but it's a good size reservoir. |

| Connected to the lake path is the
Reynolda Park Greenway that is also a bike path. It runs next
to a creek and the path to Old Salem in Winston-Salem, NC. |

| Joggers & bikers. Sign says trail is 6.94
miles. But it is a mile or 2 longer if you take the nice
sidepath of Reynolda Greenway. |
Walkers with baby.
I am sure I recognized that guy but I didn't say anything cause I
was afraid I really should have known who he was and then I would
have looked stupid. So I rode on which probably looked
stupider! |
Looks like 3 generations fishing.
Definitely enlarge this one and check out the little "canes" on the
plants. |

| Dog walkers. Lots of labs and
I bet they want to get in the water. But...there is a fine for that.
Salem Lake is a water reservoir so they don't allow swimmers of any
kind! |
The above picture was taken from the
opposite side of the lake from the picture to the right. I saw
this guy catching what look like a good size fish so I stopped.
Miriam and I stood there and watched him - several hundred feet away
- catch what looked to be a big fish. Fun. |
Then, when we rode around the lake
we saw him up close. When I told him we had seen him catch a
big one, he pulled it out of the water to show me. Fun. |
